Farm Equipment Auctions in Ohio

Sell tractors, combines, tillage, trucks, and ag equipment at auction. Live on-site plus webcast bidding reaches buyers across the country, not just down the road.

Why sell farm equipment at auction?

For most farmers retiring, downsizing, or replacing a fleet, auction beats private sale on three measures that matter: price, timeline, and certainty.

Competitive bidding drives higher prices

A piece of equipment listed on a classified site sells once — to one buyer, at whatever number that buyer is willing to pay. At auction, every interested buyer is in the same room (or on the same webcast feed) at the same moment, knowing that if they don't bid, someone else will. That pressure routinely pushes hammer prices 10-30% above private-sale offers — especially on newer equipment with broad demand.

Reach nationwide buyers, not just local ones

Our auctions run live on-site and online via webcast bidding through platforms like Equipment Facts and Tractor Zoom. A John Deere combine in a Sandusky County field can get bid up by a farmer in Iowa, a dealer in Pennsylvania, and your neighbor down the road — at the same time.

Fast, certain sale timeline

From the day you call us to the day the check clears, most farm equipment auctions wrap in 6-10 weeks. Sale day is sale day — no waiting on financing contingencies, no buyers backing out, no "let me think about it for six months."

Equipment we sell

Tractors & combines

From compact utility tractors to high-horsepower row-crop tractors and modern combines. John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, AGCO, and more. Working order, project tractors, and antique tractors all find their buyer at the right auction.

Tillage & planting equipment

Disks, chisel plows, field cultivators, planters, drills, sprayers, applicators. We catalog with model numbers, working condition, and recent maintenance notes so bidders know exactly what they're bidding on.

Grain handling & storage

Augers, gravity wagons, grain carts, grain dryers, bins, and conveyance systems. We handle disconnection logistics and load-out coordination where needed.

Trucks, trailers & attachments

Semi tractors, grain trucks, livestock trailers, equipment trailers, loaders, bale handlers, and skid steer attachments. We document titles and DOT-relevant condition items in the catalog up front.

Our auction process — start to finish

  1. Free on-site consultation. We come to your farm, walk the yard, and give you a realistic estimate. No charge, no obligation. If auction isn't your best move, we'll say so.
  2. Consignment agreement. Plain-English contract covering commission, buyer's premium, reserve handling (if any), and settlement timing.
  3. Cataloging and photography. Every piece is documented, photographed, and listed in our online catalog. Bidders get model numbers, hours, working condition, and known issues — disclosed up front.
  4. Multi-channel marketing. Listings go live on AuctionZip, Equipment Facts, Tractor Zoom, GoToAuction, our site, regional ag publications, and direct outreach to buyers we know are in the market.
  5. Sale day. Live auction on-site with simulcast webcast bidding. Mobile clerking and cashiering office on location.
  6. Settlement. Itemized settlement statement and consignor payment, typically within 7 business days.

Live + webcast bidding — the hybrid advantage

Roughly 60% of bids at our larger farm auctions now come in online via webcast bidding. That's not a fluke — it's how the market works in 2026. But the on-site crowd still matters: live bidders see the equipment in person, can climb up on the tractor, and bid with confidence. The two audiences compete, and that's what drives results.

"We had a Case IH 8240 combine that I figured would bring $145,000 if we were lucky. It hammered at $172,500 to a bidder in Indiana we'd never met. That's the auction."
